Betterside is a fresh Texas business built by four partners who grew up around Henderson County — John Cravey, Matt Snider, Pablo Novelo, and Josh Grounds. We started this on one idea: tired people deserve their time back, and the work that buys it shouldn't feel like another chore.

Why we started
The Saturday math.
You get 52 Saturdays a year. The mower and the laundry pile take most of them. That's the math we built Betterside around.
Most home-services companies in this area are big enough to feel anonymous and small enough to ghost. They run rotating crews you never meet, lock you into contracts that protect them and not you, and write quotes that grow on the way to the invoice. We wanted to be the opposite.
So we set the rules first. Four partners, hands-on every account. One contact who answers the text. The same crew every visit. Six tap-through questions instead of a phone-first form. No contracts, ever. First visit free if the work doesn't hit the standard.
We're a young business — we're honest about that. What we trade on is the partner-led model, not a track record we don't have yet. Every account we take on, we earn one visit at a time.

One scope per partner. No overlap.
Each officer owns one side of the business end-to-end. Customer bookings run through Matt (President) — start with the estimator and a qualified walkthrough lands on his calendar. Behind that: one named owner per scope, no dispatcher in the middle.
