A USMC veteran and NASCLA Unlimited Building GC, he is the credential, the bonding, and the accountability behind every Betterside construction job.

Who Ben is and what they own.
Ben is VP of Construction at Betterside. He owns the building side of the business end-to-end — custom homes, additions and remodels, ADUs, decks, and commercial build-outs — and he is the licensed general contractor whose credentials and bonding stand behind every job. While Matt holds the customer calendar, Brook holds cleaning and operations, Josh holds the visual brand, Danny holds the voice, and Pablo holds the tech stack, Ben holds construction.
He didn't come up soft. Ben served in the United States Marine Corps, learned the field from the ground up at Upstate contractors, stacked The Citadel and project-management coursework on top, and built his GC credentials by hand — NASCLA Unlimited Building General Contractor, fully licensed, bonded, and insured. The Marine Corps follow-through is what every project he runs is built on.
What that looks like in practice: every construction lead lands on Ben. He scopes the build, runs the schedule backwards from the date the customer needs it, holds the documentation discipline lenders and inspectors expect, and manages the whole book from the Betterside admin portal.
How the leadership team splits the work: John as CEO holds strategy. Matt as President holds the customer calendar and the front door, with Brook running operations and cleaning underneath him. Ben as VP of Construction holds the building line. Josh as Creative Director holds the visual brand. Pablo as CTO & CIO holds the tech stack. Danny as CMO holds the voice.
